I started my car buying journey by looking at the same car at Millennium Toyota for a 2025 version of the car, i did my research and wanted to pay cash. The sales rep there was too thirsty to make a sale and kept pressuring me to take a loan and gave me such a hard time i left. Fast forward 2026, i went to look at the 2026 version at Plaza Toyota in Brooklyn. They over charged me $5000 on the vehicle and wouldnt budge when i called them out on it so i walked out. Their team had the audacity to call me the next day to offer the same price and tried to gaslight me to say i wont find this car anywhere else. Same day i called Hillside Toyota. I had an appointment with Marten, where he listened to my experiences and worked with me where he was fully transparent about pricing. We quickly came to an agreed price in cash and he respected the boundaries between a client and a sales person. Every time i had a question he was extremely communicative during the whole buying process.
